Decadent Homemade Hot Chocolate with just 4 Ingredients!

November 14, 2020

Winter is the season for decadent, smooth, velvety, and rich hot chocolate! No better time to indulge in this super affordable, easy, yet decadent recipe than now! The nights are getting longer, the houses are getting decorated, and everyone is still quarantined and therefore lonely and sad. I joke, but in all seriousness, it’s time to bring some C-H-E-E-R into our homes with this yummy drink!

Enjoy this holiday treat - just 4 ingredients! All you need is a handful of marshmallows and whipped cream to top it off!

All it takes is some milk, cocoa, chocolate chips, and sugar! That is for the base recipe of course! But you can glam it up even more with some cinnamon, nutmeg, marshmallows, and a little bit of whipped cream for a garnish!

[…] These little guys took me 10 minutes to make, and although the original instructions said to dip the marshmallows in a mixture of powdered sugar and cornstarch, I was lazy and just used icing sugar. And the reason they look just a tad dry is because I let the icing air-dry for a few hours. However, after testing them, they melted beautifully in the hot cocoa without issue. Speaking of hot chocolate, check out the easy 4 ingredient recipe I have here! […]
