So here’s the official first Christmas post of the season! And I start it with this easy little addition to our home – a tiny, festive, floral arrangement! If you know me, you know I have a weakness for cute pots for plants, and often times I end up with more dead plants and excess of pots than I know what to do with. So I thought, what better way to repurpose this than for an actual piece of greenery? Not to mention this little DIY is dirt cheap and looks like something you’d buy straight from Terra or Michael’s if I may say so myself!

The pot itself, I found at a local grocery store – Sobey’s specifically. But you can use any small pot you have on hand. Terra has a gorgeous selection of pots to pick from – and they range from quirky to classic. I then added a little tiny cedar (real!) plant for $3.99 at Terra, and the larger cedar spillers I actually clipped off of my own in the backyard!
You can forage so much if you just keep an eye out and get most of these items for free, but when I was at Michael’s they had those picture-perfect pinecones, which I didn’t even have to bother baking and cleaning and they cost $8.99 for a decent sized bag of scented cinnamon ones (so I will be using a bunch more in upcoming projects).

So as you can see it takes so little to make an adorable and festive floral arrangement with things you can find on hand so easily! Lastly, the little red berry accents are straight from Dollarama! So simple and easy I’m actually obsessed!

So here’s to a bunch more Christmas posts that will be coming your way! I’m so excited to share them all!
